8 Dimension International LLC was founded in August, 2002. From the beginning of the company's creation, we were committed to help audio and video enthusiasts realize their "dream media center." We believe in the flexibility of a PC-based system, because multimedia technologies are changing so fast that a specialized hardware system will be obsolete by the time it reaches the market. Also, digital content today are mostly downloaded online from the Internet. The PC is very often the first and only device connected to the Internet at home. It's more natural to manage and enjoy the digital content from the PC. We also believe in the need for a simple multimedia access system that uses a living-room-friendly user interface to communicate with the user, because the living room is where most of your entertainment activities take place and it's a perfect environment for bringing all your media collections together.
The result is the TVedia software. TVedia has been through 3 major releases and 8 minor releases since its inception. The software is updated at an amazing speed. We listen to users' feedback, and we look at industry trend. We are also very responsive to support requests to make sure users are happy with the product.
Version 4.0 of TVedia is the latest fruit of our investment in research and development. It offers more capabilities and simpler experience with reduced hardware requirements.
